Affordable North Fresno 2BR/1BA with private yard

- The refrigerator was warm when we arrived. - No smoke detector in the living room. A mount for it was present on the ceiling, but the detector itself was missing. This is absurd, especially considering their policy on tampering with the smoke detector. - The lamp in the secondary bedroom had exposed wires that shocked me when I tried to unplug it in order to plug in my laptop.- The desk chair in the secondary bedroom is too tall for the desk in that room.- There was a hole in the wall of the master bedroom.- The bed frame was damaged.- Both backyard doors leading outside were unlocked when we arrived.- The power breaker for the bathroom was off when we arrived.- The knives in the kitchen were so dull that they were dangerous. Property management said they would send new ones but never did. - The stove door would not detect that it was closed. Someone put duct tape over the button that detects this to try and "remedy" the issue, and the tape had completely melted. The seal on the door was also poor and made the outer handle hot to the touch when running. - Multiple dirty dishes in the cabinets. Almost everything in the cabinet needed to be washed - The walls and baseboards were dirty - The dresser in the master bedroom is too big for the room. I had to move it away from the closet to be able to open the closet and back to its original spot so the edge didn't hang over the bed - Very slow WiFi that was being shared with 2 other rentals on the property

Positive: It was comfortable, clean, and had essentials available. The backyard was nice with waterfall and privacy all around. Negative: The deposit amount was $1000. It was refunded minus fees $47

My adult daughter and I stayed at this property for 6 days, Sunday through Friday. The property itself is very easy to get to, located around many amenities and felt safe and secure. I would be greatly surprised if it wasn't a garage turned into an 'apartment' for short term renting purposes. The layout was easy and simple and we only stumbled onto a couple of problems. The oven didn't work properly, it has heating issues. However my daughter was able to figure it out so we could enjoy our pizza. The good news about this situation was that Noah from the property management offices was very responsive to my text about it not working. The other situation we had is that the handle on the shower popped off. It looked like the internal screw came loose in the handle so it wasn't an emergency. We were able to still turn on and off the water so we could still take showers. Again, Noah was very responsive and was willing to have someone come out and fix the handle if we needed them to. We didn't, but him offering went a long way. Some things to know if you are thinking of reserving this property: Shower does not have a shelf or place to put your own shower items, which is not horrible, just an inconvenience. Shower head sprays in many different directions. The AC unit in the living room didn't seem to ever get the room to the temperature it was set at. Takes about two minutes for water to become hot.

It was really relaxing and I loved it. Positive: Everything Negative: Nothing

Positive: Location was good. Place was clean. Set up was workable Negative: Backyard full of moss. More Outside lighting needed. Back doors need weather stripping. Second bedroom no closet and unclean under bedding
